The Supply Chain of the Future - Systems that Make it Work

Pop-Up Class

I am offering a new kind of class in the Spring 2022 semester. It will be a pop-up (one-time) class on The Supply Chain of the Future.

This means it will be one-time-only in this form. It will be 100% live (Tuesday evenings 6 to 9PM EST)) and dynamic. We will focus on how companies are building systems that will carry them into the future. Spanning across the supply chain, leading companies use multiple systems to ensure visibility, efficiency, and resilience.

If you are interested, you do not have to be a current Rutgers Business School student. This class is open for auditing to anyone. You don’t have to pay any tuition and you don’t receive any University credit.

You cannot miss this!

For each session, we will invite one business professional to present a case. The key is that we would like to show our students situations companies have faced.

Over the course of the semester, we will have a number of cases, covering multiple aspects of the supply chain. Each class will roughly follow this outline:

In the first part of each class session, the guest will present the business problem and the students will work in groups to develop solutions.

In the second half, the students present their solutions, and the whole class together will synthesize the best approach to handle the problem that was presented.

Finally, the guest presenter will debrief the class towards the end of the class time with possible solutions that worked in the actual situation.
